What does the green circle mean next to my sales and expense invoices?

Within the Expenses and Sales modules, the green circle next to every invoice indicates whether an invoice has been paid and in what percentage; for example, if the green circle is full, the invoice has been paid off completely, while a half-filled circle means the invoice has only been partially paid.
