Is there a quicker way to choose a product in the inventory dropdown, instead of scrolling down?

You don't need to scroll all the way through the dropdown menu. Instead, after opening the dropdown menu, immediately start typing the first few letters of the item that you are looking for. You will skip to that item in the dropdown, which is sorted alphabetically.
